B-Vent Maintenance
Type B gas vents are venting systems used for furnaces, water heaters and some gas fireplaces, most commonly found in homes built from the 1950s to the early 2000s. .
All visible components should be inspected annually for signs of rust, deterioration, or damage. Over time, B-Vents can also become nesting areas for birds and squirrels. As many homes upgrade to high-efficiency appliances, these systems are gradually becoming obsolete, making proper inspection and maintenance especially important.

Furnace Chimney
Proper venting matters for more than just fireplaces. We also provide inspection and cleaning services for furnace chimney systems when needed.

Gas and propane chimneys often only require inspection from HVAC technicians to ensure proper venting.

Wood or wood/oil combination furnaces should have their chimneys cleaned annually or in some instances twice a year depending on usage.

Our team can help with all inquires regarding your furnace venting needs.

Other Services
Ash Chimney Sweeps provides reliable chimney repair services to keep your system functional, protected, and operating properly. These may include broken dampers, wood stove flue pipes, fire bricks, and kitchen or dryer vent covers. Each repair is assessed individually to ensure the right solution for your system.

Crown Sealer
Chimney crowns are designed to direct water away from the chimney's brickwork. As crowns age, they crack and break down, allowing moisture to penetrate the structure. Repeated freezing and thawing during spring and fall can accelerate this damage.
Applying a crown sealer helps prevent water infiltration and significantly extends the life of the chimney.

Liner Installation
Ash Chimney Sweeps installs chimney liners when replacement or upgrades are required. We regularly assist homeowners and HVAC technicians with liner installations, including difficult liner drops that can be challenging due to chimney height, access, or layout.
Our team works with both residential and service professionals to ensure liners are installed properly and safely.
If you’re unsure whether a liner replacement is needed or are facing a difficult installation, give us a call. We’re happy to discuss your liner needs and explain the best options for your system.
